A rapid magnetic particle driven micromixer
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic particle actuation at an appropriate frequency causes effective mixing and the optimum switching frequency depends on the channel's lateral dimension and the applied magnetic force, and the maximum efficiency is obtained at a relatively high operating frequency for large magnetic actuation forces and narrow microchannels.

A Microfluidic Mixer Utilizing Electrokinetic Relay Switching and Asymmetric Flow Geometries
TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of a hybrid electrokinetic-passive micromixer is predicted numerically using an h/p-type spectral element method to simulate the mixing behavior in microdevices.
