Numerical analysis of optical propagation characteristics of side-polished photonics crystal fiber
TL;DR: In this article, the optical power transmittance of side-polished photonics crystal fiber (SPPCF) was analyzed with different polishing parameters, such as residual radius R, polished length z along the PCF, and azimuth.

Theoretical analysis of optical mode deflection in lithium niobate waveguide with serrated array electrodes
Yuan Wang,Zhe Chen,Suxu Zhou,Jianhui Yu,Yingxin Zeng,Yunhan Luo,Jun Zhang,Jieyuan Tang,Heyuan Guan,Huihui Lu +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors established a lithium niobate (LN) thin film planar waveguide and an annealed proton exchange (APE) waveguide model with serrated array electrodes configuration to deflect and reshape the optical mode.

Optimal design of a fluorescence oxygen sensing probe based on multimode optical fibers
Yingxin Zeng,Yingxin Zeng,Zhe Chen,Rongsheng Chen,Yanbiao Liao,Jianbin Liu,Huihui Lu,Xingdan Chen +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a theoretical model of a multimode optical fiber based fluorescence sensor was proposed and established with the aims to optimize specific physical parameters of the sensor including the refractive index of the fluorescent matrix, external diameter and the length of sensing fiber probe which were calculated using the beam propagation method.

Optimizing Dog Rabies Vaccination Services to the Public: A Discrete Choice Experiment in Guangdong, China
Yingxin Zeng,Yaoming Liang +1 more
TL;DR: In this article , a discrete choice experiment was designed to explore dog-keeping households' preferences for dog rabies vaccination services in emerging countries like China, and the households can be classified into three types based on the latent class model: resolute executors, mischievous rebels, and incentivized compliers.
Mode defletion in lithium niobate waveguide via elecctro-optic effect and its application for beam smoothing
Yuan Wang,Huihui Lu,Jianhui Yu,Yingxin Zeng,Xiaoli He,Yunhan Luo,Jun Zhang,Jieyuan Tang,Zhe Chen +8 more
- 27 Oct 2014
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors established a straight waveguide model which is made of electro-optic material: lithium niobate, and the refractive index profile of the waveguide can be slightly electrooptically manipulated, so that the optical mode can be deflected and reshaped in the transmitted direction of waveguide.
