Multiattribute SCADA-Specific Intrusion Detection System for Power Networks
Yingjian Yang,Kieran McLaughlin,Sakir Sezer,Tim Littler,Eul Gyu Im,Bernardi Pranggono,Haifeng Wang +6 more
TL;DR: A SCADA-specific cybersecurity testbed to investigate simulated attacks, which has been used in this paper to validate the proposed approach, and a multilayer cyber-security framework for protecting SCADA cybersecurity in smart grids without compromising the availability of normal data are presented.
High Altitude Effect on Corona Inception Voltages of DC Power Transmission Conductors Based on the Mobile Corona Cage
TL;DR: In this article, a mobile corona cage test system was constructed to investigate the high altitude effect on dc corona inception voltage of power transmission lines, and the approximate linear altitude correction formulas were suggested.

Experimental investigation on altitude correction factor of positive dc corona inception voltages of transmission lines based on the mobile corona cage
Xingming Bian,Liming Wang,Zhicheng Guan,Jing Cao,Yingjian Yang,Xiong Wu +5 more
- 18 Nov 2010
TL;DR: In this paper, a mobile corona test cage was used to obtain the altitude correction factor of corona inception voltage of HVDC transmission lines within the range 23 to 4000 meters, and the exponential and linear correction formulas were introduced, which fitted well with the experimental values.

Influence of air pressure on positive DC corona inception voltage of stranded conductors in the corona cage
Xiaobo Meng,Xingming Bian,Fenglin Chen,Yingjian Yang,Liming Wang,Zhicheng Guan +5 more
- 01 Oct 2010
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of air pressure on the corona inception voltage of conductors is analyzed systematically, and it is shown that the voltage may decrease by 9% per 0.01MPa bases on the standard atmospheric pressure, mainly due to the enlargement of ionization zone as a result of the increase of effective ionization coefficient.

Numerical model of negative DC corona inception voltage of stranded conductors
Xiaobo Meng,Liming Wang,Ruobing Zhang,Fenglin Chen,Lin Zhang,Zhicheng Guan,Yingjian Yang +6 more
- 01 Oct 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, the negative corona inception voltage of stranded conductors is calculated by the charge simulation method in the computation model, and the results from numerical computation are compared with that from test in the others papers.
