Large Switchable Photoconduction within 2D Potential Well of a Layered Ferroelectric Heterostructure.
Yuben Yang,Huican Mao,Jing Wang,Jing Wang,Qinghua Zhang,Lei Jin,Chuanshou Wang,Yuelin Zhang,Nan Su,Fanqi Meng,Ying Yang,Ruqiao Xia,Ruqiao Xia,Rongyan Chen,Hui Zhu,Lin Gu,Zhiping Yin,Ce-Wen Nan,Jinxing Zhang +18 more
TL;DR: By artificial design of photosensitive heterostructures with desired band alignment, three orders of magnitude enhancement of the short-circuit photocurrent is achieved in Bi2 WO6 /SrTiO3 at room temperature.

Enhancement of the switchable diode effect by the surface hydroxylation of ferroelectric oxide thin films
Tong Li,Tong Li,Ying Yang,Yuelin Zhang,Minghui Pei,Yuben Yang,Yu Tian,Junsheng Wu,Yanwen Zhou,Hui Zhu +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the diode behavior of ferroelectric materials was shown to be enhanced using aqueous solution treatment of their surface, which can be associated with the polarization direction and the movement and redistribution of oxygen vacancies within the thin films.

Magnetoelectric phase transition driven by interfacial-engineered Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction.
Xin Liu,Wenjie Song,Mei Wu,Yuben Yang,Ying Yang,Peipei Lu,Yinhua Tian,Yuanwei Sun,Jingdi Lu,Jing Wang,Jing Wang,Dayu Yan,Youguo Shi,Nian X. Sun,Young Sun,Peng Gao,Ka Shen,Guozhi Chai,Su-Peng Kou,Ce-Wen Nan,Jinxing Zhang +20 more
TL;DR: In this article, an emergent magnetoelectric phase transition is achieved in antiferromagnetic Ruddlesden-Popper Sr2IrO4/SrTiO3 superlattices with artificially designed ferroelectricity, where an observable interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction driven by non-equivalent interface is considered as the microscopic origin.
