NiO/Graphene Composite for Enhanced Charge Separation and Collection in p-Type Dye Sensitized Solar Cell
Hongbin Yang,Guan Hong Guai,Chunxian Guo,Chunxian Guo,Qunliang Song,San Ping Jiang,Yilei Wang,Wei Zhang,Chang Ming Li,Chang Ming Li +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a p-type semiconductor photoelectrode in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) has been proposed to solve the problem of low hole transfer rate.

High Interlaminar Shear Strength Enhancement of Carbon Fiber/Epoxy Composite through Fiber- and Matrix-Anchored Carbon Nanotube Networks
TL;DR: To improve the interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy composite, networks of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) were grown on micron-sized carbon fibers and single-walls were dispersed into the epoxy matrix so that these two types of carbon Nanotubes entangle at the carbon fiber (CF)/epoxy matrix interface.

High-Performance Capacitive Deionization Disinfection of Water with Graphene Oxide-graft-Quaternized Chitosan Nanohybrid Electrode Coating
Yilei Wang,Ahmed G. El-Deen,Peng Li,Bernice Hui Lin Oh,Guo Zanru,Mya Mya Khin,Yogesh Shankar Vikhe,Jing Wang,Rebecca G. Hu,Remko M. Boom,Kimberly A. Kline,David L. Becker,Hongwei Duan,Mary B. Chan-Park +13 more
TL;DR: A high-performance capacitive deionization disinfection electrode made by coating an activated carbon (AC) electrode with cationic nanohybrids of graphene oxide-graft-quaternized chitosan (GO-QC) is demonstrated, which introduces a green in situ disinfectant approach for water purification.
Selective Surface Charge Sign Reversal on Metallic Carbon Nanotubes for Facile Ultrahigh Purity Nanotube Sorting
Jing Wang,Jing Wang,Tuan Dat Nguyen,Tuan Dat Nguyen,Qing Cao,Qing Cao,Yilei Wang,Yilei Wang,Marcus Y.C. Tan,Marcus Y.C. Tan,Mary B. Chan-Park,Mary B. Chan-Park +11 more
TL;DR: This facile charge sign reversal (CSR)-based sorting technique is robust and can sort SWNTs with a broad diameter range and record high electrically verified purity above 99.94% ± 0.04%.

Totally embedded hybrid thin films of carbon nanotubes and silver nanowires as flat homogenous flexible transparent conductors
Suresh Kumar Raman Pillai,Jing Wang,Yilei Wang,Moniruzzaman Sk,Ari Bimo Prakoso,Rusli,Mary B. Chan-Park +6 more
TL;DR: The fabrication of a new type of flexible transparent conductive film using silver nanowires (AgNW) and single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) networks which are fully embedded in a UV curable resin substrate is reported.
