Because it exploits the properties of a lattice structure among security classes, the procedure is sufficiently simple that it can easily be included in the analysis phase of most existing compilers. Appropriate semantics are presented and proved correct. An important application is the confinement problem: The mechanism can prove that a program cannot cause supposedly nonconfidential results to depend on confidential input data.

Certification of programs for secure information flow

We present DiffuScene for indoor 3D scene synthesis based on a novel scene configuration denoising diffusion model. It generates 3D instance properties stored in an unordered object set and retrieves the most similar geometry for each object configuration, which is characterized as a concatenation of different attributes, including location, size, orientation, semantics, and geometry features. We introduce a diffusion network to synthesize a collection of 3D indoor objects by denoising a set of unordered object attributes. Unordered parametrization simplifies and eases the joint distribution approximation. The shape feature diffusion facilitates natural object placements, including symmetries. Our method enables many downstream applications, including scene completion, scene arrangement, and text-conditioned scene synthesis. Experiments on the 3D-FRONT dataset show that our method can synthesize more physically plausible and diverse indoor scenes than state-of-the-art methods. Extensive ablation studies verify the effectiveness of our design choice in scene diffusion models.

DiffuScene: Denoising Diffusion Models for Generative Indoor Scene Synthesis

3D indoor scenes are widely used in computer graphics, with applications ranging from interior design to gaming to virtual and augmented reality. They also contain rich information, including room layout, as well as furniture type, geometry, and placement. High-quality 3D indoor scenes are highly demanded while it requires expertise and is time-consuming to design high-quality 3D indoor scenes manually. Existing research only addresses partial problems: some works learn to generate room layout, and other works focus on generating detailed structure and geometry of individual furniture objects. However, these partial steps are related and should be addressed together for optimal synthesis. We propose <sc xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">Scene HGN, a hierarchical graph network for 3D indoor scenes that takes into account the full hierarchy from the room level to the object level, then finally to the object part level. Therefore for the first time, our method is able to directly generate plausible 3D room content, including furniture objects with fine-grained geometry, and their layout. To address the challenge, we introduce functional regions as intermediate proxies between the room and object levels to make learning more manageable. To ensure plausibility, our graph-based representation incorporates both vertical edges connecting child nodes with parent nodes from different levels, and horizontal edges encoding relationships between nodes at the same level. Our generation network is a conditional recursive neural network (RvNN) based variational autoencoder (VAE) that learns to generate detailed content with fine-grained geometry for a room, given the room boundary as the condition. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method produces superior generation results, even when comparing results of partial steps with alternative methods that can only achieve these. We also demonstrate that our method is effective for various applications such as part-level room editing, room interpolation, and room generation by arbitrary room boundaries.

SceneHGN: Hierarchical Graph Networks for 3D Indoor Scene Generation with Fine-Grained Geometry

Holistic 3D scene understanding entails estimation of both layout configuration and object geometry in a 3D environment. Recent works have shown advances in 3D scene estimation from various input modalities (e.g., images, 3D scans), by leveraging 3D supervision (e.g., 3D bounding boxes or CAD models), for which collection at scale is ex-pensive and often intractable. To address this shortcoming, we propose a new method to learn 3D scene priors of layout and shape without requiring any 3D ground truth. Instead, we rely on 2D supervision from multi-view RGB images. Our method represents a 3D scene as a latent vector, from which we can progressively decode to a sequence of objects characterized by their class categories, 3D bounding boxes, and meshes. With our trained autoregressive decoder representing the scene prior, our method facilitates many downstream applications, including scene synthesis, interpolation, and single-view reconstruction. Experiments on 3D-FRONT and ScanNet show that our method outperforms state of the art in single-view reconstruction, and achieves state-of-the-art results in scene synthesis against baselines which require for 3D supervision. Learning 3D Scene Priors with 2D Supervision

Recently, Large Language Model based Autonomous system(LLMAS) has gained great popularity for its potential to simulate complicated behaviors of human societies. One of its main challenges is to present and analyze the dynamic events evolution of LLMAS. In this work, we present a visualization approach to explore detailed statuses and agents' behavior within LLMAS. We propose a general pipeline that establishes a behavior structure from raw LLMAS execution events, leverages a behavior summarization algorithm to construct a hierarchical summary of the entire structure in terms of time sequence, and a cause trace method to mine the causal relationship between agent behaviors. We then develop AgentLens, a visual analysis system that leverages a hierarchical temporal visualization for illustrating the evolution of LLMAS, and supports users to interactively investigate details and causes of agents' behaviors. Two usage scenarios and a user study demonstrate the effectiveness and usability of our AgentLens.

AgentLens: Visual Analysis for Agent Behaviors in LLM-based Autonomous Systems

Developing deep neural networks to generate 3D scenes is a fundamental problem in neural synthesis with immediate applications in architectural CAD, computer graphics, as well as in generating virtual robot training environments. This task is challenging because 3D scenes exhibit diverse patterns, ranging from continuous ones, such as object sizes and the relative poses between pairs of shapes, to discrete patterns, such as occurrence and co-occurrence of objects with symmetrical relationships. This paper introduces a novel neural scene synthesis approach that can capture diverse feature patterns of 3D scenes. Our method combines the strength of both neural network-based and conventional scene synthesis approaches. We use the parametric prior distributions learned from training data, which provide uncertainties of object attributes and relative attributes, to regularize the outputs of feed-forward neural models. Moreover, instead of merely predicting a scene layout, our approach predicts an over-complete set of attributes. This methodology allows us to utilize the underlying consistency constraints among the predicted attributes to prune infeasible predictions. Experimental results show that our approach outperforms existing methods considerably. The generated 3D scenes interpolate the training data faithfully while preserving both continuous and discrete feature patterns.

Scene Synthesis via Uncertainty-Driven Attribute Synchronization

In this study, we introduce the concept of OKR-Agent designed to enhance the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) in task-solving. Our approach utilizes both self-collaboration and self-correction mechanism, facilitated by hierarchical agents, to address the inherent complexities in task-solving. Our key observations are two-fold: first, effective task-solving demands in-depth domain knowledge and intricate reasoning, for which deploying specialized agents for individual sub-tasks can markedly enhance LLM performance. Second, task-solving intrinsically adheres to a hierarchical execution structure, comprising both high-level strategic planning and detailed task execution. Towards this end, our OKR-Agent paradigm aligns closely with this hierarchical structure, promising enhanced efficacy and adaptability across a range of scenarios. Specifically, our framework includes two novel modules: hierarchical Objects and Key Results generation and multi-level evaluation, each contributing to more efficient and robust task-solving. In practical, hierarchical OKR generation decomposes Objects into multiple sub-Objects and assigns new agents based on key results and agent responsibilities. These agents subsequently elaborate on their designated tasks and may further decompose them as necessary. Such generation operates recursively and hierarchically, culminating in a comprehensive set of detailed solutions. The multi-level evaluation module of OKR-Agent refines solution by leveraging feedback from all associated agents, optimizing each step of the process. This ensures solution is accurate, practical, and effectively address intricate task requirements, enhancing the overall reliability and quality of the outcome. Agents meet OKR: An Object and Key Results Driven Agent System with Hierarchical Self-Collaboration and Self-Evaluation

Robotic manipulation is challenging when both the objects being manipulated and the tactile sensors are deformable. In this article, we addressed the interplay between the manipulation of deformable objects, tactile sensing, and model-free reinforcement learning on a real robot. We showed how a real robot can learn to manipulate a deformable, thin-shell object via feedback from deformable, multimodal tactile sensors. We addressed the learning of a page flipping task using a two-stage approach. For the first stage, we learned nominal page flipping trajectories for two page sizes by constructing a reward function that quantifies functional task performance from the perspective of tactile sensing. For the second stage, we learned adapted trajectories using tactile-driven perceptual coupling, with an intuitive assumption that, while the page flipping trajectories for different task contexts (page sizes) might differ, similar tactile feedback should be expected from functional trajectories for each context. We also investigated the quality of information encoded by two different representations of tactile sensing data: one based on the artificial apical tuft of bio-inspired tactile sensors, and another based on principal component analysis eigenvalues. The results and effectiveness of our learning framework were demonstrated on a real seven-degree of freedom robot arm and gripper outfitted with tactile sensors.
