The Role of Aldosterone in OSA and OSA-Related Hypertension
Yi Wang,Chuan Xiang Li,Ying Ni Lin,Li Zhang,Shi Qi Li,Liu Zhang,Ya Ru Yan,Fang-Ying Lu,Ning Li,Qing Yun Li +9 more
TL;DR: A bidirectional influence between OSA and aldosterone exists and contributes to hypertension in OSA patients, especially resistant hypertension.

Transcriptomics Analysis Identifies the Presence of Upregulated Ribosomal Housekeeping Genes in the Alveolar Macrophages of Patients with Smoking-Induced Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Li Han,Jing Wang,Xiao-Bin Ji,Zai-Yan Wang,Yi Wang,Li-Yue Zhang,Hong-Peng Li,Ze-Ming Zhang,Qingyun Li +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the transcriptomic profile of AM in COPD patients with a history of smoking and explored the molecular mechanisms associated with enriched pathways and hub genes and found that there is a narrow transcriptional difference between healthy non-smokers and non-COPD smokers and the hub genes identified here are mainly members of the chemokines, including CCL5, CCR5 and CXCL9.
Changes of circulating biomarkers of inflammation and glycolipid metabolism by CPAP in OSA patients: a meta-analysis of time-dependent profiles
Yi Wang,Ying Ni Lin,Li Zhang,Chuan Xiang Li,Shi Qi Li,Hong Peng Li,Liu Zhang,Ning Li,Ya Ru Yan,Qing Yun Li +9 more
TL;DR: The results imply that changes of circulating biomarker changes of inflammation and glycolipid metabolism for patients with OSA under CPAP treatment have a time-dependent profile.

Diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea using a bio-radar contact-free system compared with an established HST device in older adults.
Chuan Xiang Li,Yun Feng Zhang,Z. Zhou,Fang-Ying Lu,Yi Wang,Li Zhang,Ning Li,Xian Wen Sun,Qing-Yun Li +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors compared a bio-radar contact-free monitoring device (OrbSense+) with Alice NightOne and found that the latter had a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 86.96% in diagnosis of OSA.

Exogenous Ang-(1-7) inhibits autophagy via HIF-1α/THBS1/BECN1 axis to alleviate chronic intermittent hypoxia-enhanced airway remodelling of asthma
Jian Ping Zhou,Yi Wang,Shi Qi Li,Jia Qi Zhang,Ying Ni Lin,Xian Wen Sun,Li Na Zhou,Liu Zhang,Fang Ying Lu,Yong Jie Ding,Qing-Yun Li +10 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that exogenous Ang-(1-7) can inhibit autophagy via HIF-1α/THBS1/BECN1 axis, thereby alleviating CIH-enhanced airway remodelling in asthma.
