Single-cell transcriptome sequencing atlas of cassava tuberous root
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors sequenced the single-cell transcriptomes at two developmental phases of cassava tuberous roots using the technology known as 10x Genomics (S1, S2).
Spraying chitosan on cassava roots reduces postharvest deterioration by promoting wound healing and inducing disease resistance.
Congcong Wang,Yinhua Chen,Songbi Chen,Yi Gi Min,Yanqiong Tang,Xiang Ma,Hong Li,Juanjuan Li,Zhu Li Liu +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the antibacterial properties of chitosan in vitro, as well as its effect on wound healing and resistance in cassava roots were assessed, and the findings demonstrated that the bacteriostatic effect became increasingly prominent as the concentration of chITosan enhanced.

Understanding the changes of phenylpropanoid metabolism and lignin accumulation in wounded cassava root during postharvest storage
Congcong Wang,Jinshan Wu,Yanqiong Tang,Yi Gi Min,Dan Wang,Xiang Ma,Hong Li,Juanjuan Li,Yinhua Chen,Songbi Chen,Zhu Li Liu +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , the results showed that the deterioration rate and weight loss of cassava-resistant variety SC9 were 4.1 and 1.8 times lower than those of susceptible SC6 on the seventh day of storage.
