Oral Administration of Clostridium butyricum GKB7 Ameliorates Signs of Osteoarthritis in Rats
Sunny Li-Yun Chang,Yen-You Lin,Sha Liu,You Shan Tsai,Shih-Wei Lin,Yen-Lien Chen,Chin-Chu Chen,Chih Yuan Ko,Hsien-Te Chen,Wei-Cheng Chen,Chih-Hsin Tang +10 more
TL;DR: Compared with rats in the ACLT-only group, ACLT rats administered the probiotic exhibited dramatic improvements in pain-related behavior from postoperative week 2, had significantly less osseous and cartilaginous damage at week 6, and significantly lower levels of the inflammatory markers interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) in cartilage and synovium sections.
An Examination of Lactobacillus paracasei GKS6 and Bifidobacterium lactis GKK2 Isolated from Infant Feces in an Aged Mouse Model.
Lin Shih-Wei,You-Shan Tsai,Yen-Lien Chen,Ming-Fu Wang,Chen Chin-Chu,Chen Chin-Chu,Chen Chin-Chu,Wen-Hsin Lin,Tony J. Fang +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of probiotics Lactobacillus paracasei GKS6 (GKS6) and Bifidobacterium lactis GKK2 (GKK2) at the dosage of 5.0 × 109 cfu/kg BW/day for fourteen weeks in senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8 (SAMP8) mice were demonstrated.
