Immunoglobulin gene usage and immunohistochemical characteristics of human monoclonal antibodies to the mitochondrial autoantigens of primary biliary cirrhosis induced in the XenoMouse
Motoko Sasaki,Motoko Sasaki,Judy Van de Water,Thomas P. Kenny,Michael L. Gallo,Patrick S.C. Leung,Yasuni Nakanuma,Aftab A. Ansari,Ross L. Coppel,James Neuberger,M. Eric Gershwin +10 more
TL;DR: The XenoMouse not only recapitulates the unique specificity and restriction of PBC patients, but indicates that the autoantibodies are derived from a restricted clonal selection process, suggesting that the original immunogen leads to somatic mutation without subsequent development of determinant spreading.

Pathological spectrum of bile duct lesions from chronic bile duct injury to invasive cholangiocarcinoma corresponding to bile duct imaging findings of occupational cholangiocarcinoma
Masahiko Kinoshita,Shoji Kubo,Yasuni Nakanuma,Yasunori Sato,Shigekazu Takemura,Shogo Tanaka,Genya Hamano,Tokuji Ito,Hiroaki Terajima,Terumasa Yamada,Shoji Nakamori,Akira Arimoto,Masahiro Fujikawa,Yasuhiko Sugawara,Takatsugu Yamamoto,Makoto Abue,Kei Nakagawa,Michiaki Unno,Toru Mizuguchi,Kenji Takenaka,Ken Shirabe,Toshihiko Shibata +21 more
TL;DR: The objective was to identify the pathological characteristics of occupational cholangiocarcinoma and to establish a smoking cessation strategy for this disease.

Comparative Study of the Three Nodular Lesions in Cirrhosis
Goroku Ohta,Yasuni Nakanuma +1 more
- 01 Jan 1987
TL;DR: It is proposed that iron-resistant areas within regenerative nodules have a preneoplastic significance in man as well as in experimental animals and that clustering of small dysplastic liver cells or Mallory’s body-containing cells in regeneratives nodules might also have the same significance in nonalcoholics.

Hypervascular hepatocellular carcinomas showing hyperintensity on hepatobiliary phase of gadoxetic acid-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging: a possible subtype with mature hepatocyte nature
Norihide Yoneda,Osamu Matsui,Azusa Kitao,Ryuichi Kita,Kazuto Kozaka,Wataru Koda,Satoshi Kobayashi,Toshifumi Gabata,Hiroko Ikeda,Yasuni Nakanuma +9 more
TL;DR: Hyperintense HCC expressed OATP8 and showed a feature of mature hepatocytes with a weak expression of stem cell characteristics immunohistochemically, and this type of HCC demonstrated a weaker expression of the poorer prognosis markers.
24
Expression of MAGE-A3 in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and its precursor lesions.
TL;DR: MAGE‐A3 expression was examined in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) and its precursor lesions and there was no correlation between MAGE‐3 expression and histological differentiation or anatomical locations of invasive ICC.
