Unmet needs of activities of daily living among a community-based sample of disabled elderly people in Eastern China: a cross-sectional study
TL;DR: Disabled elderly people living in communities had a high percentage of unmet needs for activities of daily life that required going outside the bedroom and involved spiritual aspects, which increased with worsening disability status in IADL, more distanced relationships with caregivers and lower incomes of caregivers.

Effect of a culturally sensitive DEmentia Competence Education for Nursing home Taskforce (DECENT) programme in China: A quasi-experimental study.
TL;DR: In this paper , a culturally specific dementia-care education for nursing home taskforce (DECENT) program was evaluated in mainland China, where the primary outcome was the sense of competence in dementia care and secondary outcomes were dementia knowledge, attitudes towards people with dementia, person-centred care in nursing homes and the severity of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia of residents with dementia and staff-perceived disturbance.
