Natural <3 nm Interbedded Gaps to Trap Target Molecules and Provide an Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy Method
Miao Qin,Meihong Ge,Pan Li,Siyu Chen,Guang Huang,Xianhong Tong,Weimin Huang,Delong Ren,Yao He,Dongyue Lin,Liangbao Yang,Zhong-Qun Tian +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a liquid-liquid interface assembly method is used to construct a three-layer Ag nanoparticle film structure, wherein the nanoparticles between the adjacent upper and lower layers form natural smaller gaps of 1-3 nm.

Spectrophotometry of hydroxocobalamin and hemoglobin reveals production of an unanticipated methemoglobin variant
TL;DR: This is the first study to document methemoglobin formation caused by hydroxocobalamin, and the remainder spectrum appears to be a meethemoglobin variant quantitatively dependant on the amount of hydroxoobalamin added to the hemoglobin solution and the presence of oxygen.
