Loose nanofiltration membrane constructed via interfacial polymerization using porous organic cage RCC3 for dye/salt separation
Ana Zhao,Min Zhang,Yuemei Bao,Lingfeng Zhao,Guanhua Liu,Yanjun Jiang,Peng Zhang,Xingzhong Cao +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a soluble porous organic cage (POC) was used as an amine monomer to fabricate polyamide (PA) membrane with loose structure via interfacial polymerization and evaluated the membrane performance in dye/salt separation.

Nanosized Shikonin-Fe(III) Coordination Material for Synergistic Wound Treatment: An Initial Explorative Study.
Jian Chun Hu,Kangkang Feng,Yiyang Cong,Xiaoyang Li,Yanjun Jiang,Xiaodan Jiao,Yurong Li,Yuqin Zhang,Xinying Dong,Weifei Lu,Zhi Ding,Hao Hong +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , a facile synthetic method to produce the Shik-iron (III) nanoparticles (Shik-Fe NPs), which could overcome some inherent characteristics of Shik, such as its virulence, low bioavailability, and poor solubility, have limited its biomedical applicability.

Separation of α‐ketoglutaric acid by salting‐out extraction coupled with solar‐driven distillation
TL;DR: In this article , α-KG was separated from biotransformation broth by salting-out extraction (SOE) combined with solar-driven distillation, which is environmentally friendly and easy to operate, providing a new idea for separating low concentration products in biosynthesis.

Integration of chemo- and bio-catalysis to intensify bioprocesses
TL;DR: Chemoenzymatic cascade reactions (CECRs) as discussed by the authors merge the complementary strengths of chemo-catalysis and bio-calysis, such as the wide reactivity of chemon-catalysts and the exquisite selective properties of biocatalysts, representing an important step toward emulating nature to construct artificial systems for achieving bioprocess intensification.
