Epidemiological and virological surveillance of influenza viruses in China during 2020–2021
Weijuan Huang,Yanhui Cheng,Minju Tan,Jia Liu,Xiyan Li,Xiaoxu Zeng,Jing Tang,Hejiang Wei,Tao Chen,Lei Yang,Yiran Xie,Jiayun Yang,Ning Xiao,Dayan Wang +13 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors analyzed the epidemiology, antigenic and genetic characteristics, and antiviral susceptibility of influenza viruses in the mainland of China during 2020-2021.
Neuraminidase inhibitor susceptibility testing of influenza type B viruses in China during 2010 and 2011 identifies viruses with reduced susceptibility to oseltamivir and zanamivir.
Dayan Wang,Katrina Sleeman,Weijuan Huang,Ha T. Nguyen,Ha T. Nguyen,Marnie Levine,Marnie Levine,Yanhui Cheng,Xiyan Li,Minju Tan,Xiaohui Xing,Xiyan Xu,Alexander Klimov,Larisa V. Gubareva,Yuelong Shu +14 more
TL;DR: The results of drug susceptibility surveillance of influenza type B viruses collected in mainland China during two calendar years, 2010 and 2011, are reported, assessed using functional neuraminidase (NA) inhibition (NI) assays.

Incidence of influenza virus infections confirmed by serology in children and adult in a suburb community, northern China, 2018‐2019 influenza season
Cuiling Xu,Ling Liu,Binzhi Ren,Libo Dong,Shumei Zou,Weijuan Huang,Hejiang Wei,Yanhui Cheng,Jing Tang,Rongbao Gao,Lizhong Feng,Ruifu Zhang,Chaopu Yuan,Dayan Wang,Jing Chen +14 more
TL;DR: In mainland China, seasonal influenza disease burden at community level is unknown and the incidence rate of influenza virus infections in the community is difficult to determine due to the lack of well‐defined catchment populations of influenza‐like illness surveillance sentinel hospitals.

Neuraminidase inhibitor susceptibility profile of human influenza viruses during the 2016-2017 influenza season in Mainland China.
Weijuan Huang,Yanhui Cheng,Xiyan Li,Minju Tan,Hejiang Wei,Xiang Zhao,Ning Xiao,Jie Dong,Dayan Wang +8 more
TL;DR: NAIs remain the recommended antiviral for treatment and prophylaxis of influenza virus infections during the 2016-2017 influenza season in Mainland China and will remain so during the 2017-18 season.

TL;DR: Investigation of mutations of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 egg isolates from the Chinese National Influenza Surveillance Network between 2009 and 2016 found four mutations, D127E, L191I, D222G/N and Q223R in HA1, which may alter the receptor-binding specificity were observed frequently.
