Lan Li,Ping Zhang,Weiming Wang,Hongtao Lin,Aidan B. Zerdoum,Sarah Geiger,Yangchen Liu,Nicholas Xiao,Yi Zou,Okechukwu Ogbuu,Qingyang Du,Xinqiao Jia,Jingjing Li,Juejun Hu,Juejun Hu +14 more
TL;DR: Th thin film TiO2 is presented as a viable material for biocompatible and flexible integrated photonics and the low cytotoxicity of the sol-gelTiO2 devices is validated through in-vitro cell culture tests, demonstrating the potential of this material platform for novel biophotonic devices.
High-Q Mid-Infrared Chalcogenide Glass Resonators for Chemical Sensing
Hongtao Lin,Yang Xiang,Lan Li,Kati McLaughlin,Yangchen Liu,Yeshwant Chillakuru,Erick Koontz,J. David Musgraves,Kathleen Richardson,Chaoying Ni,Juejun Hu +10 more
- 14 Jul 2014
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors fabricated chalcogenide glass on CaF2 resonators with a record intrinsic quality factor of 6 × 105 and applied these devices to demonstrate cavity enhanced chemical sensing near 5.2 μm wavelength.
