TL;DR: In this article , an asymmetrical configuration characterized by a single cobalt atom coordinated with boron and nitrogen (CoB1N3) is established to offer a strong local electric field, upon which the cleavage of OH bond is thermodynamically favored via a promoted coupled electron-proton transfer process, which serves an essential step to further allow OO bond cleavage and efficient electron transfer.

Lamellar carbon nitride membrane for enhanced ion sieving and water desalination
TL;DR: In this article , a chemically robust 2D carbon nitride can be activated using aluminum polycations as pillars to modulate the interlayer spacing of the conjugated framework, the noncovalent interaction concomitantly affords a well-interlinked lamellar structure.
Nanocellulose hyperfine network achieves sustained release of berberine hydrochloride solubilized with β-cyclodextrin for potential anti-infection oral administration.
TL;DR: In vitro drug release showed that sustained drug release was achieved at different pH conditions simulating the gastrointestinal fluids by BC/IC hydrogels due to the hyperfine network of BC matrix and together with the good biocompatibility and edibility of the BC matrix, these BBH/β-CD IC-loaded bacterial celluloseHydrogels appear to be promising candidates of oral administration medicine against gastrointestinal infections.
