Chemical Prelithiation of Negative Electrodes in Ambient Air for Advanced Lithium-Ion Batteries.
TL;DR: An ambient-air-tolerant approach for negative electrode prelithiation by using 1 M lithium-biphenyl (Li-Bp)/tetrahydrofuran (THF) solution as the prelithsiation reagent is reported, demonstrating the practicality of this strategy.

High performance lithium-ion and lithium–sulfur batteries using prelithiated phosphorus/carbon composite anode
Gongwei Wang,Gongwei Wang,Feifei Li,Dan Liu,Dong Zheng,Caleb John Abeggien,Yang Luo,Xiao-Qing Yang,Tianyao Ding,Deyang Qu +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a controlled chemical prelithiation of high capacity phosphorous/carbon composite anode has been applied to develop advanced lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) and the initial coulombic efficiency of P/C is significantly improved owing to the formation of an artificial solid electrolyte interface (SEI) layer, which is characterized by SEM, Raman and XPS analyses.

Cryo-TEM studies of binder free high performance FeF2 cathode based full cells enabled by surface engineering
Yong Su,Shuang Liu,Dingding Zhu,Yang Luo,Xuedong Zhang,Jitong Yan,Jingzhao Chen,Lin Geng,Baiyu Guo,Hui Li,Qiushi Dai,Hongjun Ye,Jing Yao,Yunna Guo,Gang Wang,Yongfu Tang,Liqiang Zhang,Congcong Du,Jianyu Huang,Qiao Huang +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors embed FeF2 nanoparticles in an interconnected cyclic polyacrylonitrile (cPAN) network to passivate the cathode/electrolyte interface.
