Self assembled isoorotic acid‑zinc phosphate hybrid nanoflowers with superior antibacterial activity
Yang Liu,Ziyuan Wang,Yuxiao Feng,Yi Jiao,Le Zhong,Geling Kuang,Yingjie Du,Muhammad Bilal,Shiru Jia,Jiandong Cui +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , instead of ZnO nanoparticles, isoorotic acid-zinc phosphate hybrid nanoflowers (IA-ZP NF) using zinc (II) ions as the inorganic component and isorotic acid as the organic component were developed as a new kind of antibacterial material for the first time, which exhibited not only enhanced antibacterial activity against both Grampositive and Gram-negative bacteria but also low toxicity to HeLa cells.
