TL;DR: The entire genome of the A/Chicken/Hubei/C1/2007 (H9N2) virus, isolated from central China in 2007, was completely sequenced and phylogenetically analyzed and suggested that attention should be paid to the natural evolution of H9N1 influenza viruses and to the control of H 9N2 influenza viruses in animals.

Development of a multiplex PCR to detect and discriminate porcine circoviruses in clinical specimens.
TL;DR: The multiplex PCR assay could be used as a differential diagnostic tool for monitoring and control of PCVs in the field and indicates that the PCVs infection and their co-infection are severe in Hubei province, Central China.
Surface proteins mhp390 (P68) contributes to cilium adherence and mediates inflammation and apoptosis in Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae
Liu Wei,Zhou Danna,Fangyan Yuan,Zewen Liu,Zhengyin Duan,Yang Keli,Guo Rui,Mao Li,Sha Li,Liurong Fang,Shaobo Xiao,Tian Yongxiang +11 more
TL;DR: This present study explores the pathogenicity of mhp390 (P68, a membrane-associated lipoprotein) by elucidating its multiple functions and reports the first report of the multiple functions of M. hyopneumoniae mHP390, which may supplement known virulence genes and further develop the understanding of the pathogenicicity.

A one-step RT-PCR assay to detect and discriminate porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome viruses in clinical specimens.
TL;DR: A one-step RT-PCR assay can detect the virus 2 days prior the onset of symptoms and it can be performed in 2h, thereby providing a rapid method to discriminate HP-PRRSV from C-PR RSV for the identification and prevention of PRRSV infections.

A Multiplex RT-PCR Assay to Detect and Discriminate Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Viruses in Clinical Specimens
TL;DR: The high specificity, sensitivity, and reliability of the multiplex RT-PCR assay described in this study indicate that it is useful for the rapid and differential diagnosis of HP- PRRSV JXA1-R, HP-PR RSV, and C-PRRSV.
