Physical education teaching and learning in the new normal era requires teachers to hold online learning. Most teachers choose mobile learning in spite of its debatable pro and contra in responding to it. The purpose of this study was to describe the attitudes of elementary school physical education teachers towards the use of mobile learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The teachers' attitude was also examined based on their gender, age, and teaching experience. A survey was conducted on 71 physical education teachers across West Java, Indonesia. All physical education teachers had agreed to be involved in this research and were willing to provide information about their attitudes towards the use of mobile learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The instrument used in this study, Physical Education Teachers' Subjective Theories Questionnaire (PETSTQ), was distributed online using Google Form from June to July 2020. Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U non-parametric were used to reveal the differences in attitudes towards mobile learning in physical education learning during COVID-19. The results showed that the attitudes of elementary physical education teachers varied based on gender, age, and teaching experience. The findings of this study can inform policy makers to formulating a more applicable online physical education system during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Elementary school physical education teachers’ attitudes toward the use of mobile learning during COVID-19 pandemic

This survey research aims to explore the challenges of using technology in Physical Education. The data was taken through a survey using an open-ended questionnaire that has been distributed through Google forms which were distributed over two months and five days. The population is 49 Physical Education teachers in West Java. The population consisted of 13 Physical Education teachers from Cimahi, 9 from Bandung, 11 from Batujajar, 8 from Garut and 8 from Purwakarta. The total Sampling was used in this study. Data analyzed using the percentage of each indicator in the questionnaire. The results showed that the challenges obtained from teachers was 28%, challenges from students was 24%, challenges that came from the environment 32% and challenges from school support was only 16%. These results can be used to overcome the problem of using technology in the Physical Education learning process at school.

Analyzing the Challenges to Using Technology in Physical Education

The successful physical education teaching mode is a new teaching mode used in physical under the traditional physical education teaching mode, which is formed and developed from the teaching reform of physical education in recent years. Under the background of The Times, the new educational mode conforms to the trend of The Times and is conducive to the benign development of education. Compared with the traditional physical education teaching mode, the students of the successful physical education teaching mode have a stronger sense of experience. This strong sense of participation and experience can not only improve students’ love for sports but also have a positive impact on the development of students’ mental health and also free the cultivation of students’ personality. Deep learning (DL) is a type of pattern analysis method in machine learning algorithms, which solves many complex pattern recognition problems, and has achieved many results in the fields of search technology. In this paper, by constructing a deep learning model, the model is applied to the application research of the successful physical education teaching mode in basketball teaching, and the effect of the successful physical education teaching mode in actual teaching is obtained through comparative experiments. According to the experimental results, the successful physical education teaching mode has a more significant effect on the teaching of students’ basketball skills, and according to the experiment, when the number of fine-tuning is 180, the correct rate is the highest at this time, which is 85%. When the number of hidden layer nodes is 180, the highest accuracy rate is 85.6%, and according to the experiments on the classification results, it is concluded that the model has a high degree of matching with the application research of the successful physical education model in basketball teaching. 

The Application of Successful Physical Education Teaching Mode Integrating Deep Learning in Basketball Teaching

With the rapid development of computer science education, multimedia-assisted teaching has become an important teaching tool in college teaching practice. Multimedia teaching integrates video teaching, image teaching, and text teaching, deeply triggers students’ sensory system, provides students with a full range of teaching experience, changes the teaching mode that traditional teaching cannot stimulate students’ passion for learning, and makes computer network teaching and independent learning more efficient and independent. In the context of the rapid development of computer information technology, this paper designs a multimedia English teaching system based on the powerful information processing functions of WEB, and the test results show that the system CPU usage rate is 62%, and the memory usage rate is 38%, the development reaction time is 2.27 s, the operation stability is 99%, all of which meet the operation standards, and avoid system failures during teaching and using.
