Evolution of c-ZrN nanopowders in low-carbon MgO–C refractories and their properties
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of ZrN content on the microstructure and properties of the MgO-C refractories was investigated, and the results indicated that the addition of ZRN significantly promoted the reaction, and there was a certain degree of chemical bonding between ZrNs and the formed ceramic phases.

Preparation and application of ZrC-coated flake graphite for Al2O3-C refractories
TL;DR: In this paper, ZrC-coated flake graphite was prepared by molten salt synthesis and added to the Al2O3-C refractory, and the effects of the molar ratio of Zr/C and the graphite particle size on ZrCo-Co-coating graphite were investigated.

Effect of Si powder-supported catalyst on the microstructure and properties of Si3N4-MgO-C refractories
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of different nitriding temperatures on the morphology and production of Si3N4 in uncatalyzed refractories was investigated, and the effects of the morphology of β-Si3N 4 on the properties of the refractors with different catalyst contents were investigated.

Molten-salt nitridation synthesis of cubic ZrN nanopowders at low temperature via magnesium thermal reduction
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of ZrO2 / Mg mole ratio, nitriding temperature, and holding time on the synthesis of nanopowders were investigated, and a possible formation mechanism was proposed.

Influence of sintering process and interfacial bonding mechanism on the mechanical properties of MgO–C refractories
TL;DR: In this article, two kinds of MgO-C refractories were separately prepared by carbon-embedded method and high-temperature nitridation, and a direct chemical bonding interface was formed between Si3N4 and flake graphite in the nitrided samples.
