A one-pot CRISPR/Cas13a-based contamination-free biosensor for low-cost and rapid nucleic acid diagnostics
TL;DR: In this paper , a one-pot CRISPR/Cas13a-based visual biosensor was proposed and developed for the rapid and low-cost nucleic acid detection by combining Cas13a cleavage and Recombinase Polymerase Amplification (RPA) in a onepot reaction in a disposable tube-in-tube vessel, amplicon contamination could be completely avoided.

GRAS-domain transcription factor PAT1 regulates jasmonic acid biosynthesis in grape cold stress response.
Zemin Wang,Darren C. J. Wong,Yi Wang,Guangzhao Xu,Chong Ren,Yanfei Liu,Kuang Yangfu,Peige Fan,Shaohua Li,Haiping Xin,Zhenchang Liang +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of VaPAT1 and VaIDD3 in cold stress response in grape calli was investigated and co-expression network analysis indicated LOX3 might be a downstream target of VAT1.

Optimizing the CRISPR/Cas9 system for genome editing in grape by using grape promoters.
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the optimized CRISPR/Cas9 vector that contained the conventional multiple sgRNA expression cassettes or the polycistronic tRNA-sgRNA cassette (PTG) by targeting the sugarrelated tonoplastic monosaccharide transporter (TMT) family members TMT1 and TMT2, and the overall editing efficiencies were higher than 10%.
Highly efficient activation of endogenous gene in grape using CRISPR/dCas9-based transcriptional activators
TL;DR: The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the d Cas9-VP64 and dCas9-TV systems in gene activation in grape, which will facilitate application of transcriptional activation in this economically important species.
