TL;DR: In this article , a spatial analysis of hair selenium and Keshan disease on a nationwide county-level has been performed, and the results showed that the hair SE levels of the 3,028 participants in the 1,174 counties in Henan, Gansu, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, and Heilongjiang were significantly lower than those in non-endemic counties.
