Hyperoside prevents high-fat diet-induced obesity by increasing white fat browning and lipophagy via CDK6-TFEB pathway.
Siyao Cheng,Xintao Ni,Yan Yao,Yunxia Sun,Xiao-Dan Yu,Daozong Xia,Zhenggang Yang,Miaofen G. Hu,Xiaoli S. Hou +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the effect of Hype on high-fat diet (HFD)-induced obesity and its metabolic regulation on white fat tissues was investigated in four-week-old male C57BL/6J mice, randomly assigned to vehicle (0.5% methycellulose) and Hype (80 mg/kg/day by gavage) groups under a normal chow diet (NCD) or HFD for 8 weeks.

CDK6 increases glycolysis and suppresses autophagy by mTORC1-HK2 pathway activation in cervical cancer cells
Xiaoxi Zhang,Yunxia Sun,Siyao Cheng,Yan Yao,Xintao Hua,Yue Shi,Xiaoqin Jin,Jieli Pan,Miaofen G. Hu,Pian Ying,Xiaoli S. Hou,Daozong Xia +11 more
TL;DR: It is found that loss of CDK6 in cervical adenocarcinoma HeLa cell line inhibited cell proliferation but induced apoptosis as well as autophagy, accompanied by attenuated expression of mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) and hexokinase 2 (HK2), reduced glycolysis, and production of protein, nucleotide, and lipid.

The Protective Effects of Neoastilbin on Monosodium Urate Stimulated THP-1-Derived Macrophages and Gouty Arthritis in Mice through NF-κB and NLRP3 Inflammasome Pathways
TL;DR: Substantial evidence is provided for neoastilbin as a promising therapeutic agent for GA treatment by suppressing the activation of NF-κB and NLRP3 inflammasome pathways in both MSU stimulated THP-1-derived macrophages and the mouse model of GA.
An Improved Method for the Identification of Soybean Resistance to Phytophthora sojae Applied to Germplasm Resources from the Huanghuaihai and Dongbei Regions of China.
Jin Yang,Wenwu Ye,Xiaomen Wang,Linrong Ren,Yan Yao,Xiaoli Wang,Yan Wang,Suomeng Dong,Xiaobo Zheng,Yuanchao Wang +9 more
TL;DR: The research indicates that sources of P. sojae resistance are present in the major soybean production areas of China, and this study provides useful information for soybean breeding programs.
(−)-Epicatechin Ameliorates Monosodium Urate-Induced Acute Gouty Arthritis Through Inhibiting NLRP3 Inflammasome and the NF-κB Signaling Pathway
TL;DR: Results indicated that EC could effectively improve MSU-induced acute gouty arthritis via inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome and the NF-κB signaling pathway in vitro and in vivo, which suggested that EC might be a promising active ingredient for the prevention and treatment of g outy arthritis.
