Upregulated MicroRNA-483-3p is an Early Event in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and as a Powerful Liquid Biopsy Biomarker in PDAC.
Huilin Shao,Yue Zhang,Jie Yan,Xinchao Ban,Xiaojie Fan,Xiaoyan Chang,Zhaohui Lu,Yan Wu,Liju Zong,Shengwei Mo,Shuangni Yu,Jie Chen +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, miR-483-3p expression level was also assessed using quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) in serum and serum exosome samples from 63 patients with PDAC and 22 healthy individuals.
Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms of the pancreas: Clinical association with KRAS.
TL;DR: The present study aimed to further elucidate the associations among IPMN subtypes (gastric, intestinal, pancreatobiliary and oncocytic), pathological classifications, and found that survival rate was not associated with KRAS mutation, and KRAS mutations was lowest in intestinal-type IPMN, and was in proportion to the degree of dysplasia and invasion.
Genetic Alteration Profiles and Clinicopathological Associations in Atypical Parathyroid Adenoma.
TL;DR: In this paper, Zhang et al. investigated the molecular basis of atypical parathyroid adenomas (AA) and found that AA arises de novo, rather than developing from a malignant tumor.
High minichromosome maintenance protein 7 proliferation indices: a powerful predictor of progression in pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms without distant metastasis at the time of surgery.
Xinchao Ban,Jie Yan,Shuangni Yu,Zhaohui Lu,Xiaoyan Chang,Congwei Jia,Cen Gao,Huilin Shao,Yan Wu,Xinxin Mao,Yue Zhang,Yuan Li,Jie Chen +12 more
TL;DR: It is confirmed that MCM7 is a valuable marker for assessing the progression of PanNENs, especially in patients with early stage disease and without distant metastasis.

Composite pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma-ganglioneuroma: analysis of SDH and ATRX status, and identification of frequent HRAS and BRAF mutations
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the status of SDH and ATRX and identified novel genetic changes in composite pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma (CP) neoplasm.
