Core-shell FeCo@carbon nanocages encapsulated in biomass-derived carbon aerogel: Architecture design and interface engineering of lightweight, anti-corrosion and superior microwave absorption.
TL;DR: In this article , the core-shell structure [email protected] nanocages were successfully anchored on the surface of biomass-derived carbon (BDC) from pleurotus eryngii (PE) via freeze-drying and electrostatic self-assembly process, achieving lightweight, anti-corrosive, and excellent absorption properties.

Bimodal Antimicrobial Surfaces of Phytic Acid–Prussian Blue Nanoparticles–Cationic Polymer Networks
Xiaodong He,Hua-Rong Wu,Yan Wang,Yunjie Xiang,Kai Zhang,Xiaobei Rao,En-Tang Kang,Liqun Xu +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a simple and universal surface modification method based on surface adhesion and electrostatic interaction of phytic acid (PA) was developed, which is first functionalized with Prussian blue nanoparticles (PB NPs) via metal chelation and then conjugates with cationic polymers (CPs).

Ti3C2 MXene assembled with TiO2 for efficient photocatalytic mineralization of gaseous o-xylene
TL;DR: In this article , a conductive Ti3C2-TiO2 composite was successfully compounded with TiO2 for photocatalytic degradation of o-xylene, and the results of PL and photocurrent response showed that 1 % Ti3c2-tio2 composite had less carrier recombination and higher photocurrent responses, which endows its stronger oxidative ability than TiO 2 .

Influence of encapsulation variables on formation of leuprolide-loaded PLGA microspheres.
Jia Zhou,Richard Schutzman,Nian-Qiu Shi,Rose Ackermann,Karl F. Olsen,Yan Wang,Steven P. Schwendeman +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the effects of process variables on the complex emulsification processes during encapsulation of leuprolide in PLGA microspheres using a high-shear rotor-stator mixer were investigated with the aid of dimensional analysis.

Conformationally engineering flexible peptides on silver nanoparticles
Jia Fu Xu,Tiange Gao,Lingjie Sheng,Yan Wang,Chenxi Lou,Haifang Wang,Yuan-Yuan Liu,Aoneng Cao +7 more
TL;DR: Cao et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed that metal nanoparticles can serve as a general replacement of protein scaffolds to conformationally engineer protein fragments on the surface of nanoparticles.
