Copper-mediated cyanation reactions
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors summarized various copper-mediated cyanations based on the different kinds of cyanide reagents, such as metal cyanides, metal hexacyanoferrate(II), acetone cyanohydrins, DDQ, AIBN, benzyl cyanide, malononitrile, nitromethane, and DMF.

Copper-mediated cyanation of aryl boronic acids using benzyl cyanide
TL;DR: An efficient copper-mediated synthesis of aryl nitriles from aryL boronic acids has been achieved using benzyl cyanide as a user-friendly cyanide source using tert-Butyl hydroperoxide as a critical agent facilitating the cyanation reaction.

Synthesis of indeno[1,2-c]furans via a Pd-catalyzed bicyclization of 2-alkynyliodobenzene and propargylic alcohol.
TL;DR: A general and efficient synthesis of indeno[1,2]furans via a Pd-catalyzed bicyclization reaction between 2-alkynyliodobenzenes and propargylic alcohols is described.

Synthesis of Indeno[1,2-c]furans via a Pd-Catalyzed Bicyclization of 2-Alkynyliodobenzene and Propargylic Alcohol.
TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction is proposed to proceed via oxidative insertion of palladium into the aryl-halogen bond followed by complexation to the propargylic alcohol, two subsequent syn-palladations, and a final reductive elimination, generating one C-O and two C-C bonds in a single synthetic step.
