Effects of surfactant treatment on mechanical and electrical properties of CNT/epoxy nanocomposites
TL;DR: In this paper, a nonionic surfactant Triton X-100 was applied to enhance the dispersion of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in polymer and the properties of nanocomposite.

- 15 Aug 2009
TL;DR: The work proposed here has several advantages over the previous methods, including a high efficiency of exfoliation process, the use of a non-toxic, environmental-friendly intercalant and the capability for mass production of graphene for industrial applications.
459
Fabrication of highly conducting and transparent graphene films
TL;DR: In this article, a chemically reduced graphene dispersion was synthesized and graphene films were prepared from it by transfer printing, followed by thermal treatment, and the resulting graphene films possessed an excellent electrical conductivity with a high transparency.

Effects of functional groups on the mechanical and wrinkling properties of graphene sheets
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the degree of functionalization, molecular structure and molecular weight of functional groups on the Young's modulus of graphene sheets were investigated through molecular dynamics and molecular mechanics simulations.

Improved electrical and optical characteristics of transparent graphene thin films produced by acid and doping treatments
TL;DR: In this paper, a modified thermal treatment, acid treatment in a HNO 3 bath and doping by immersing in a SOBr 2 solution are developed to treat graphene films to improve the electrical conductivity and transparency.
