Delayed neutrophil apoptosis may enhance NET formation in ARDS
Chao Song,Haitao Li,Zhi Mao,Ling Peng,Ben Liu,Fengyu Lin,Yi Li,Minhui Dai,Yan-fei Cui,Yu-hao Zhao,Duoduo Han,Lingli Chen,Xun Huang,Pinhua Pan +13 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the relationship between delayed neutrophil apoptosis and increased levels of extracellular traps (NETs) in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and found that neutrophils with extended lifespan in ARDS usually enhance NET formation.
Deletion of Brucella transcriptional regulator GntR10 regulated the expression of quorum sensing system and type IV secretion system effectors, which affected the activation of NF-κB.
Zhiqiang Li,Shuli Wang,Jincheng Han,Chuanxin Shi,Guangli Yang,Yan-fei Cui,Lei Xi,Shuanghong Yin,Hui Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: GntR10 deletion was previously found to affect the growth and the virulence of Brucella and expression levels of target genes of GNTR10 in mice as mentioned in this paper .

Design of a multi-epitope vaccine against six Nocardia species based on reverse vaccinology combined with immunoinformatics
Fei Zhu,Caixia Tan,Chunhui Li,Shiyang Ma,Haicheng Wen,Huanming Yang,Ming-jun Rao,Peipei Zhang,Wenzhong Peng,Yan-fei Cui,Jie Chen,Pinhua Pan +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , a multi-epitope vaccine was designed against the Nocardia infection using reverse vaccinology combined with immunoinformatics approaches, and the results of the immune simulation indicated that the designed vaccine had the potential to induce strong protective immune responses in the host.
Development of a novel multi-epitope mRNA vaccine candidate to combat HMPV virus.
Shiyang Ma,Fei Zhu,Yizhong Xu,Haicheng Wen,Mingjun Rao,Peipei Zhang,Wenzhong Peng,Yan-fei Cui,Hang Yang,Caixia Tan,Jie Chen,Pinhua Pan +11 more
TL;DR: Calculation of physicochemical properties proved the protein vaccine as a product can stably exist in the human body and the immune simulations suggest that this is a vaccine candidate for controlling HMPV infection.

Metabolomic profiles of breath odor compounds for prognostic prediction in patients with acute-on-chronic liver failure: A pilot study.
Jing Jing,Xiu-Xiu Sang,Shao-Li You,Bin Zhu,Yan-fei Cui,Chunyu Li,Zhongxia Wang,Xu Zhao,Xiaoyi Liu,Miao Tian,Yue-Bo Ren,Si-Miao Yu,Xiao Xiaohe,Jia-Bo Wang,Ming Niu,Ruilin Wang +15 more
TL;DR: The aim of this study was to use a metabonomics approach to identify potential biomarkers of exhaled breath condensate for predicting the prognosis of acute‐on‐chronic liver failure (ACLF).
