Endostar, a novel recombinant human endostatin, exerts antiangiogenic effect via blocking VEGF-induced tyrosine phosphorylation of KDR/Flk-1 of endothelial cells.
TL;DR: The results showed that endostar suppressed the VEGF-stimulated proliferation, migration, and tube formation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) in vitro and in vivo and provided a molecular basis for the antiangiogenic effects ofendostar.

Flavonoid baicalein suppresses adhesion, migration and invasion of MDA-MB-231 human breast cancer cells
TL;DR: Results indicated that baicalein suppressed MDA-MB-231 cell adhesion to fibronectin-coated substrate, wound healing migration and invasion through the Matrigel in a concentration-dependent manner and it could serve as a promising drug for the treatment of cancer metastasis.

Wogonoside induces cell cycle arrest and differentiation by affecting expression and subcellular localization of PLSCR1 in AML cells.
TL;DR: The results of this study suggest that wogonoside may represent a therapeutic candidate for the treatment of AML.

Wogonin suppresses tumor growth in vivo and VEGF-induced angiogenesis through inhibiting tyrosine phosphorylation of VEGFR2.
Na Lu,Ying Gao,Yun Ling,Yan Chen,Yong Yang,Hong-Yan Gu,Qi Qi,Wei Liu,Xiaotang Wang,Qi-Dong You,Qinglong Guo +10 more
TL;DR: It is found for the first time that wogonin inhibited the growth and tumor angiogenesis of human gastric carcinoma in nude mice and strongly suggest that wgonin might be a promising antitumor drug.

Oroxylin A suppresses invasion through down-regulating the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-2/9 in MDA-MB-435 human breast cancer cells
Yu Sun,Na Lu,Yun Ling,Ying Gao,Yan Chen,Ling Wang,Rong Hu,Qi Qi,Wei Liu,Yong Yang,Qidong You,Qinglong Guo +11 more
TL;DR: The results strongly suggest that oroxylin A had potential anti-metastatic effect in vitro and shed light on the investigation of oroxyin A on breast cancer metastasis in vivo.
