TL;DR: A retrospective observational study was conducted among 1985 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at public, semipublic and private diabetes centers in Iran as mentioned in this paper , and the results showed that the management of T2DM in all selected provinces was far from the optimal control in both processes and outcome-related indicators and therefore needs serious consideration and improvement.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of marketing and costs and research and development (R&D) investments on profitability of pharmaceutical companies of Iran were investigated using a random-effect panel data estimator, and the results indicated that variables such as company size, capital to total asset ratio and debt-to-asset ratio have an effect on profitability.
