Low temperature CC bond scission during ethanol decomposition on Pt(331)
TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption and decomposition of ethanol was studied on clean, and oxygen pre-covered Pt(331) surface by using mainly TPD, LEED and AES.

Effect of nanoparticle clusters on the specific heat capacity of a molten carbonate for thermal energy storage
Lihua Cao,Minghui Fang,Y. Cong +2 more
TL;DR: In this article , the effect of nanoparticles (SiO2) on the specific heat capacity (SHC) of molten salt was investigated by molecular dynamics (MD) method, and the intrinsic mechanism of the change of SHC was revealed from a microscopic perspective.

A test of electronegativity equalization during fluorinated ethanol decomposition on Pt(331)
Y. Cong,Richard I. Masel +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that fluorine can speed up reactions under some conditions, and slow the reactions down under other conditions, based on the principle of electronegativity equalization.

Analysis of thermodynamic performance of cascaded latent heat storage using variable diameter capsules
TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of variable diameter capsules on the thermodynamic performance of a 3-stage cascaded latent heat storage system was investigated. And the results showed that the packed beds with variable diameter capsule has an advantage on heat storage capacity and exergy storage capacity.
