Effects of Nitrogen and Phosphorus Addition on Agronomic Characters, Photosynthetic Performance and Anatomical Structure of Alfalfa in Northern Xinjiang, China
TL;DR: In this article , the authors conducted field fertilization experiments on alfalfa in the second and third years under drip irrigation, as well as measurement of the photosynthetic physiology, anatomical structure and agronomic traits of al-alfa at different levels of N (0, 120 kg·ha−1) and P2O5 ( 0, 50, 100 and 150 kg·a−1), and the results showed that the dry matter yield (DMY), crude protein (CP), net photoynthetic rate (Pn) and specific leaf weight (SLW) were increased by 2.10~11.12% in the N application treatment compared with the non-N application treatment.

Effects of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum and Lactiplantibacillus brevis on fermentation, aerobic stability, and the bacterial community of paper mulberry silage
TL;DR: The results showed that the inoculated treatments had significantly reduced neutral detergent fiber, water-soluble carbohydrates, and ammoniacal nitrogen contents compared with the control after 60 days of ensiling as mentioned in this paper .
The effect of alfalfa cultivation on improving physicochemical properties soil microorganisms community structure of grey desert soil
Jiangjiao Qi,DongQing Fu,Xuzhe Wang,Fan-Fan Zhang,Chun Bao Ma +4 more
TL;DR: Alfalfa cultivation in grey desert soil improves soil nutrient levels, microbial diversity, and community structure, with Victoria, Kangsai, and Aohan varieties exhibiting better effects than others, significantly impacting bacterial and fungal populations and soil physicochemical properties.
