Dioxygen activation by a neutral beta-diketiminato copper(I) ethylene complex.
Xuliang Dai,Timothy H. Warren +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis and structure of two thermally stable neutral β-diketiminato copper(I) olefin complexes along with the structure of a Cu(II)2(μ-OH)2 dimer were presented.

Cu(I) beta-diketiminates for alkene aziridination: reversible Cu-arene binding and catalytic nitrene transfer from PhI=NTs.
TL;DR: In this paper, a base-free dicopper species bridged via eta(2)-binding of opposing N-aryl rings could be isolated by the addition of Tl[Me(2)NN] to CuBr.

Diketiminato cu(i) and co(i) carbene catalysts, and cyclopropanation methods using them
Xuliang Dai,Timothy H Warren +1 more
- 12 Jul 2004
TL;DR: In this paper, an electron-rich, bidentate N,N-donor ligand was designed to impart stereo and enantio-selectivity in cyclopropanation of alkenes with diazoalkanes.

[Me2NN]Co(η6-toluene): OO, NN, and ON Bond Cleavage Provides β-Diketiminato Cobalt μ-Oxo and Imido Complexes
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis and structure of a β-diketiminato Co(I) arene adduct [Me2NN]Co(η6-toluene) (2) are described, that serves as a synthon to the reactive, "naked" 12-electron [Me 2NN] Co fragment via loss of toluene in its reactions with dioxygen, organoazides, and a nitrosobenzene.
