Organolead Halide Perovskite Nanocrystals: Branched Capping Ligands Control Crystal Size and Stability.
Binbin Luo,Binbin Luo,Ying-Chih Pu,Sarah A. Lindley,Yi Yang,Liqiang Lu,Liqiang Lu,Yat Li,Xueming Li,Jin Z. Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: The different capping effects resulting from branched versus straight-chain capping ligands were compared and a possible mechanism proposed to explain the dissolution-precipitation process, which affects the growth and aggregation of PNCs, and thereby their overall stability.
Evaluation of Ficus tikoua leaves extract as an eco-friendly corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel in HCl media.
Qihui Wang,Bochuan Tan,Hebin Bao,Xie Yuting,Mou Yixuan,Pengcheng Li,Dabiao Chen,Yanwei Shi,Xueming Li,Wenjing Yang +9 more
TL;DR: An effective and biodegradable Ficus tikoua leaves extract was studied as a corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel in hydrochloric acid and results reveal that the extract inhibitors act as a mixed-type with an inhibition efficiency up to 95.8% at 298 K.

Peptide-Passivated Lead Halide Perovskite Nanocrystals Based on Synergistic Effect between Amino and Carboxylic Functional Groups
TL;DR: In this paper, a new strategy has been developed using peptides with amino and carboxylic functional groups as passivating ligands to produce methyl ammonium lead bromide (CH3NH3PbBr3) perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) with excellent optical properties.

Synthesis, Optical Properties, and Exciton Dynamics of Organolead Bromide Perovskite Nanocrystals
Binbin Luo,Binbin Luo,Ying-Chih Pu,Ying-Chih Pu,Yi Yang,Sarah A. Lindley,Ghada Abdelmageed,Ghada Abdelmageed,Hoda A. Ashry,Yat Li,Xueming Li,Jin Z. Zhang +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, two different aliphatic ammonium capping ligands, octylammonium bromide (OABr) and octadecylammoniam bromides (ODABr), were used to synthesize perovskite nanocrystals with green photoluminescence (PL).

Effect of surfactants on morphology and luminescent properties of CaMoO4: Eu3+ red phosphors
TL;DR: Using polyethylene glycol (PEG), Tween-80, sodium dodecyl sulphonate (SAS) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as surfactants, CaMoO(4): Eu(3+) red phosphors were prepared by co-precipitation method and their morphology, structure and luminescent properties were investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and fluorescence spectrometer as mentioned in this paper.
