De novo transcriptome analysis of Pleurotus djamor to identify genes encoding CAZymes related to the decomposition of corn stalk lignocellulose
TL;DR: This is the first study to report the de novo transcriptome sequencing of P. djamor, which will produce a dataset of genes encoding CAZymes, thereby laying the foundation to elucidate the degradation mechanism of corn stalk biomass and boost the biotransformation ofcorn stalk biomass resources.

Microbial consortium composed of Cellulomonas ZJW-6 and Acinetobacter DA-25 improves straw lignocellulose degradation
Yunpeng Guan,Hong-Yan Zhu,Yuan Zhu,Hemei Zhao,Longhua Shu,Jian Song,Xue Yang,Zhihai Wu,Lei Wu,Meiying Yang +9 more
TL;DR: ZJW-6 acted as the major decomposer whose growth and enzymatic activities were promoted by DA-25, and a novel microbial consortium with improved lignocellulose degradation efficiency and reduce the C:N ratio of lignosidase materials, which can enhance bioenergy production.

Interaction of the coupled effects of irrigation mode and nitrogen fertilizer timing on rice yield in different regions
Qing-Lian Su,Bai Cang,Raza Ullah,Ze-yang Song,Yunzhe Li,Jingjing Cui,Xiao-ying Wei,Meiying Yang,Xue Yang,Zhihai Wu +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a two-year field experiment was conducted at two sites with varying cumulative temperatures from 2018 to 2019, and the effects of irrigation mode and nitrogen fertilization timing on rice yield and related physiological parameters were examined in different regions.

Comprehensive sequence and expression profile analysis of the phosphate transporter gene family in soybean
Xiao-ying Wei,Yuming Fu,Renjie Yu,Lei Wu,Zhihai Wu,Ping Tian,Siyuan Li,Xue Yang,Meiying Yang +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , Zhang et al. used RNA-seq data to identify 57 GmPHTs family members in soybean and found that most of them shared syntenic relationships with PHTs members in Arabidopsis thaliana.
