Rhodium(III)-Catalyzed Redox-Neutral Coupling of N-Phenoxyacetamides and Alkynes with Tunable Selectivity†
TL;DR: A novel oxidizing directing group was developed for a rhodium(III)-catalyzed CH functionalization of N-phenoxyacetamides with alkynes to deliver benzofurans with high selectivity.

Phosphine-catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of methyl 2,3-butadienoate and N-tosylimines. A novel approach to nitrogen heterocycles
Zhenrong Xu,Xiyan Lu +1 more
TL;DR: In the presence of a catalytic amount of triphenylphosphine, methyl 2,3-butadienoate smoothly reacted with aromatic or heteroaromatic N -tosylimines at room temperature to afford the [3+2] cycloaddition product in excellent yield as mentioned in this paper.

A phosphine-catalyzed [3+6] annulation reaction of modified allylic compounds and tropone.
Yishu Du,Jianqing Feng,Xiyan Lu +2 more
TL;DR: A novel phosphine-catalyzed reaction of modified allylic compounds, including acetates, bromides, chlorides, or tert-butyl carbonates derived from the Morita-Baylis-Hillman (MBH) reaction with tropone to yield [3+6] annulation products in excellent yields was developed.

Synthetic methodology using tertiary phosphines as nucleophilic catalysts
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the appropriate dipolarophiles and the further extension of this reaction, and showed that the reaction is catalytic to the tertiary phosphine used, which can react with various substrates with the simultaneous elimination of the secondary phosphine.
