TL;DR: In this article, the fluorescent properties of quantum dots and polymer dots encapsulated inside the hosts of calcite single-crystals were examined, and enhanced fluorescent properties were obtained from the QDs and Pdots inside calcite Single-Crystal Composites with greatly improved photostability and significantly prolonged fluorescence lifetime.
