Global reliability evaluation of a high-pier long-span continuous RC rigid frame bridge subjected to multi-point and multi-component stochastic ground motions
TL;DR: In this article , a unified expression of spectral decomposition integrating spectral representation method and proper orthogonal decomposition based on coherency function matrix is derived for sample realization of multi-point and multi-component nonstationary stochastic ground motions with merely three elementary random variables, which bypasses the challenges of high-dimensional randomness degree and huge computation expense faced by the Monte Carlo simulation scheme.

Two dimension-reduction probabilistic models for simulating nonstationary turbulent wind fields
Zhangjun Liu,Yun Liu,Xinxin Ruan +2 more
TL;DR: In this article , two dimension-reduction probabilistic models are established for simulating the multi-dimensional and multi-variable nonstationary turbulent wind fields based on the double proper orthogonal decomposition (DPOD) and the double spectral representation method (DSRM).

Reliability Evaluation of a Nonlinear Frame Structure under Explosive Ground Motions Generated by Dimension-Reduction Method
TL;DR: In this article , a stochastic model of explosive ground motions applying the dimension-reduction method is proposed, and the reliability evaluation of a nonlinear frame structure under such excitations is realized by means of the probability density evolution method and an equivalent extreme-value-based reliability evaluation strategy.

TL;DR: In this article , a dimension-reduction simulation method of fully non-stationary m D-n V stochastic vector processes is applied to generate multi-component non-uniform seismic excitation for long-span bridge structures.
