Preparation, structure and mechanical properties of Sialon ceramics by transition metal-catalyzed nitriding reaction
TL;DR: In this article, the phase composition, microstructure and mechanical properties of Sialon ceramics were studied and it was shown that the addition of Fe, Co and Ni greatly promoted the nitridation process of Si, Al and Al2O3 powders with the transition metals (Fe, Co, Ni) catalysts.

BiOBr with oxygen vacancies capture 0D black phosphorus quantum dots for high efficient photocatalytic ofloxacin degradation
Xibao Li,Bangbang Kang,Fan Dong,Fang-Yuan Deng,L. Han,Xiaoying Gao,Jilin Xu,Xifeng Hou,Zhijun Feng,Zhi Chen,Lingling Liu,Juntong Huang +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a BPQDs/OV-BiOBr S-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst with tight interfacial contacts was successfully prepared by hydrothermal deposition of appropriate amount of black phosphorus quantum dots (BPQDs) on bismuth bromoxide with oxygen vacancies.

Molten salt synthesis of titanium carbide using different carbon sources as templates
Mingge Yan,Qingming Xiong,Juntong Huang,Juntong Huang,Xifeng Hou,Lei Zhang,Xibao Li,Zhijun Feng +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, different carbon sources, such as nano-sized carbon black (CB), carbon nanotubes (CNT), carbon fibers (CF) and graphene (GR), were reacted with titanium micro-powders, to synthesise titanium carbide (TiC) in the mixed molten salts of LiCl-KCl-kF at 1100 °C for 6
