Performance of a foundation pit supported by bored piles and steel struts: A case study
Xiaoyan Cui,Mingge Ye,Yan Zhuang +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the behavior of a large-scale foundation pit supported by bored piles and inclined steel struts, in which the movement of the foundation pit and the displacement of the retaining structure are reported.

Numerical simulation and simplified analytical method to evaluate the displacement of adjacent tunnels caused by excavation
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the effect of excavation geometry and the relative location between the tunnel and excavation on the lateral and vertical displacement of adjacent tunnel and found that the tunnel mainly developed during excavation and the pouring of the floor slabs, which approaching to steady values after the construction of inclined steel struts.

Finite-Element Analysis on the Tensile Membrane Effect in Geogrid Reinforced Piled Embankment under Dynamic Loading
TL;DR: In this article , a numerical investigation of the tensile membrane effect in the geogrid reinforced piled embankment under dynamic loading was presented, where the maximum sag was attained at the center of two adjacent piles, while localization of tensile force was observed at the corners of the pile caps.
Three-Dimensional Analysis of Load Transfer Mechanism for Deep Cement Mixing Piled Embankment under Static and Cyclic Load
Xiaoyan Cui,Yajun Cao,Yanli Jin +2 more
TL;DR: In this article , a three-dimensional numerical simulation was conducted to grasp the load transfer characteristics of DCM piled embankments, which was validated by the measurements from the field case.
