Papers
High-frequency EMC design verification through full-wave simulations and measurements in Reverberation Chamber
Xiaoxia Zhou,Jing Li,Hongmei Fan,Alpesh Bhobe,Philippe Sochoux,Jinghan Yu +5 more
- 21 Nov 2013
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a novel three dimensional (3D) electromagnetic simulation technique to analyse radiation characteristics of various electrical and mechanical components used on printed circuit board (PCB) and electronic chassis.

A novel differential serpentine delay line to reduce differential to common mode conversion and impedance discontinuity
Jianquan Lou,Xiaoxia Zhou,Shun Li,Yingchun Shu,Alpesh Bhobe,Jinghan Yu +5 more
- 01 Jun 2017
TL;DR: Full-wave simulation was done between traditional length matching scheme and the novel one, which indicates that novel serpentine delay line has nearly 5–15dB reduction in differential to common mode conversion below 14GHz in microstrip application and almost 10dB reduction at full frequency range in stripline application.

Localized skew compensation technique for reducing electromagnetic radiation
Hongmei Fan,Xiaoxia Zhou,Alpesh Bhobe,Jinghan Yu,Hailong Zhang,Philippe Sochoux +5 more
- 15 Nov 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, a differential conductor pair comprising first and second parallel conductors extends along a path between the first component and the second component, where the path of the differential conductor pairs comprises at least one turn that causes a change in direction of the conductors.

The gigahertz two-band common-mode filter for 10-Gbit/s differential signal lines
Miroslav Pajovic,John Savic,Alpesh Bhobe,Xiaoxia Zhou +3 more
- 21 Nov 2013
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a gigahertz common-mode filter structure to suppress critical commonmode in this frequency range without degrading the quality of the differential signals, directed to a compact-size electromagnetic band gap (EBG) structure suitable for placement in a multilayer PCB, individual IC chip package, or in an optical transceiver module.

Electrical device with integrated transformer and common mode choke
Jianquan Lou,Quanhui Sun,Xiaoxia Zhou,Alpesh Bhobe,Jinghan Yu,Yingchun Shu +5 more
- 18 Dec 2015
TL;DR: In this article, a core structure consisting of a first core section, a second core section and a third core section was proposed to reduce common mode noise for an electrical signal received by the electrical device, and the primary winding of the transformer was configured to induce a magnetic field on the third core.
