Ambiguous temperature difference in aerodynamic levitation process: Modelling, solving and application
TL;DR: In this article, the authors established thermal filed model with properly simplified boundary condition, and derived quantitative expressions of the ambiguous temperature difference in aerodynamic levitation, and showed that the temperature difference not only related to the average temperature, relative size and thermal conductivity of sample, but significantly influenced by the rotation pattern of sample.

Real-time prediction and adaptive adjustment of continuous casting based on deep learning
Ziqing Lu,Neng Ren,Xiaowei Xu,Jun Li,Chinnapat Panwisawas,Mingxu Xia,Hong Xiang Dong,Jianguo Li +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a real-time prediction (ReP) model was developed to predict the 3D temperature field distribution in continuous casting on millisecond timescale, with mean absolute error (MAE) of 4.19 K and mean absolute percent error (MAPE) 0.49% on test data.
Multiphase modelling of the continuous metallurgical purification process for impurity removing of recycled aluminum
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors proposed a continuous metallurgic purification method to remove impurities from recycled aluminum, which has great potential for purification of recovered metals, refining the aluminum from 2 N to 3 N within three cycles.

Unconventional Floppy Network Structures in Titanate Glasses
Xuan Ge,Pingsheng Lai,Caijuan Shi,Xiaowei Xu,Jian Wang,Tao Du,Morten Mattrup Smedskjær,Fan Yang,Wenquan Lu,Jing Qin,Jianguo Li,Qiaodan Hu +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , the structural evolution in situ of a barium dititanate (BaTi2O5) glass was tracked using high-energy synchrotron X-ray scattering, high-temperature Raman spectroscopy and empirical potential structure refinement simulation.
