TL;DR: Assessment of changes in platelet function using thromboelastography and platelet mapping in HBV-related ACLF patients with chronic hepatitis B virus infection found that adenosine diphosphate-hyporesponsive circulating platelets have changed, providing new insights into the pathogenesis of extrahepatic organ failures in ACLf patients.
