Parallel effects of cations on PNIPAM graft wettability and PNIPAM solubility.
TL;DR: The results showed that the effects of varying cations on surface wettability are as large as the results of varying anion identity and concentration, and the Theta(a) or LCST versus cation activity/concentration could be readily grouped by charge.

Enhanced visible-light absorption and dopant distribution of iodine-TiO2 nanoparticles synthesized by a new facile two-step hydrothermal method
TL;DR: In this paper, a new facile synthetic approach was proposed, which started with the cost-efficient and environmentally friendly precursor of undoped anatase TiO2 to form nanotube structures as templates that collapsed and recrystallized into I-TiO2 nanopowders in HIO3 solution.
