Characterization of Boxwood Shoot Bacterial Communities and Potential Impact from Fungicide Treatments
Xiaoping Li,H.T. Tseng,Ginger Hemmings,Olanike Omolehin,Chad Taylor,Amanda J. Taylor,Ping Kong,Margery L. Daughtrey,Fred E. Gouker,Chuanxue Hong +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the epiphytic and endophytic bacterial communities of boxwood shoot and determine how they may respond to commonly used fungicides were characterized. And the results are foundational for exploring and utilizing the full potential of the microbiome and fungicide applications and developing a systems approach to boxwood health and production.

Phenotypic and transcriptional changes in Escherichia coli K12 in response to simulated microgravity on the EagleStat, a new 2D microgravity analog for bacterial studies.
Collin R Topolski,Eduardo Divo,Xiaoping Li,Janelle Hicks,Alba A. Chavez,Hugo Castillo +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , a 2D clinostat with capabilities robust enough for bacterial studies to allow for multiple simultaneous replicates of treatment and control conditions, thus permitting the generation of growth curves, in a single run.

Spontaneous mutations in FgSAD1 suppress the growth defect of the Fgprp4 mutant by affecting tri‐snRNP stability and its docking in Fusarium graminearum
TL;DR: Data indicate that suppressor mutations in FgSad1 increase the stability of the tri-snRNP and/or the affinity of Fg Sad1 with U2 snRNP, and therefore potentially facilitate the docking of tri- SnRNP into the spliceosome.

Carbon pathways during transitory starch degradation in Arabidopsis differentially affect the starch granule number and morphology in the dpe2/phs1 mutant background.
TL;DR: In this paper , a double mutant without either the cytosolic disproportionating enzyme 2 (DPE2) and the plastidial phosphorylase (PHS1) had a dwarf-growth phenotype, a reduced and uneven distribution of starch within the plant rosettes, and a lower starch granule number per chloroplast under standard growth conditions.

Qualitative lysine crotonylation and 2-hydroxyisobutyrylation analysis in the ovarian tissue proteome of piglets
TL;DR: In this paper , protein post-translational Kcr and 2-hydroxyisobutyrylation in the ovarian tissues of piglets were investigated and a total of 653 overlapping proteins among differentially modified proteins were identified.
