Immunostimulatory effect of quaternary degree and acetyl group of quaternized chitosan on macrophages RAW 264.7
TL;DR: Results show that the removal of acetyl groups in chitosan obviously improved the degree of substitution of quaternary ammonium salts, and HACC and De-HACC were capable of promoting immunological activity in a substitution-dependent manner.
