TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the potential roles of differentiation and Irisin in regulating the browning of 3T3-L1 cells and found that they could significantly increase the number of lipid droplets and upregulate the expression levels of UCP1, PGC-1α, PRDM16, and p-AMPKα1.
