Xuewu Zhang,Xuewu Zhang,Jean Claude D Schwartz,Jean Claude D Schwartz,Xiaoling Guo,Sumeena Bhatia,Erhu Cao,Lieping Chen,Zhong Yin Zhang,Michael Edidin,Stanley G. Nathenson,Steven C. Almo +11 more
TL;DR: Structural and biophysical data show that PD-1 is monomeric both in solution as well as on cell surface, in contrast to CTLA-4 and other family members that are all disulfide-linked homodimers.

Structure, inhibitor, and regulatory mechanism of Lyp, a lymphoid-specific tyrosine phosphatase implicated in autoimmune diseases
TL;DR: The identification of a bidentate salicylic acid-based Lyp inhibitor I-C11 with excellent cellular efficacy is reported and established a mechanism by which PKC could attenuate the cellular function of Lyp, thereby augmenting T cell activation.
