This paper proposes a secure and energy-efficient Internet of Things (IoT) model for e-health. The main objective is to secure the transmission and retrieval of biomedical images over IoT networks. To achieve this, the compressive sensing and five-dimensional hyper-chaotic map (FDHC) are utilized to encrypt the biomedical images. However, FDHC suffers from the hyper-parameter tuning problem. To resolve this, a $\theta $ -non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm III ( $\theta $ -NSGA-III) based FDHC is proposed. Initially, the initial attributes of FDHC are tuned using $\theta $ -NSGA-III. Then, the tuned attributes are used by FDHC to generate the secret keys. The obtained secret keys are then utilized to permute and diffuse the input biomedical images. Permutation and diffusion operations are applied row-wise and column-wise on the input biomedical image to perform encryption. The proposed technique is sensitive towards the input images as the permutation and diffusion of each row and column depends upon the initial scrambled row and column. Experimental results reveal that the proposed technique outperforms the state-of-art image encryption techniques. The proposed framework encrypts and decrypts images at a higher speed, therefore, it can be used to secure the communication in green IoT networks.

Secure and Energy Efficient-Based E-Health Care Framework for Green Internet of Things

This paper proposes a new chaotic system, combined with the dynamic mixing of pixel values, pixel bits, and binary bits encryption algorithms, which are used together in image encryption. The whole process is as follows. First, the original plain text image is converted into an initial key through the SHA-512 algorithm and related operations, then the initial key is applied to the proposed delayed feedback dynamic mixed linear-nonlinear coupled mapping lattices (DFDMLNCML) to obtain the chaotic matrix required for encryption, next, perform the encryption operation of mixed pixel values, pixel bits and binary bits, scrambling and diffusion are done together to improve the security of the algorithm. Finally, the average NPCR, average UACI is 99.6075, 33.4795, respectively, experimental results and various security analyses show that the performance of the system and algorithm is good, and it can resist ordinary attacks, such as selecting plaintext attacks, cropping attacks, and noise attacks.

A chaotic image encryption algorithm based on random dynamic mixing

As a kind of spatiotemporal chaos, coupled map lattice (CML) is widely applied into image encryption because of its advantages of more complex dynamical behavior and lower computational overhead Firstly, this paper proposed a novel spatiotemporal chaos model (MCML) by mixing Logistic, Sine and Tent maps into CML map together Beyond that, we also change the structure of CML and the coupling method in different lattices Bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponents and NIST test are employed to measure the chaotic behaviors of the MCML system Secondly, by applying MCML chaos, we design a new key binding and distribution rule, the improved diffusion scheme to encrypt image Furthermore, the novel bit Z-scan scrambling method also be used to enhance the security of the encryption scheme Finally, a large number of experimental results prove that our proposed scheme is suitable for image encryption and has high security against common attacks

A new image encryption scheme based on coupling map lattices with mixed multi-chaos.

In view of the problem that dissipative chaos has attractors and is easy to be attacked by reconstruction, which leads to the security defects of encryption algorithm based on dissipative chaos, we design a new general form of n-dimensional conservative chaos according to the generalized Hamiltonian system. Taking four-dimensional (4D) as an example, numerical verification and performance analysis show that the conservative chaos has excellent chaotic characteristics such as wide ergodicity, no attractors, no chaotic degradation, and it can resist reconstruction and other attacks. Based on this 4D conservative chaos, we propose a new image encryption algorithm, which includes the plaintext related dynamic scrambling method and the dynamic diffusion mechanism of quadrilateral rule (MQR). Moreover, the initial values of the system are controlled by the external key stream and the internal key stream, so that the generation of ciphertext information are closely related with that of plaintext information, part of the ciphertext information, pseudo-random sequence and the key stream, which can increase the ability of the algorithm to resist plaintext and other attacks. Experimental simulation and performance analysis show that the encryption algorithm has better security and real time communication. 

A new n-dimensional conservative chaos based on Generalized Hamiltonian System and its’ applications in image encryption

In this paper, a five-dimensional discrete hyperchaotic map is constructed by combining Logistic map and 3D discrete Lorenz map. Based on this chaotic system, a block-based image encryption scheme related to plaintext is designed. The encryption scheme includes scrambling operation and diffusion operation. In the scrambling operation, the scrambling sequence is related to the pixels of the plaintext image, while in the diffusion operation, two rounds of diffusion are carried out for intra-block diffusion, and the generation of random diffusion sequence is related to a pixel value in the block in each round of diffusion, which makes the algorithm resist chosen-plaintext attack. When the next block is diffused, the generation of the diffusion sequence is related to the first and last pixels of the previous block, which makes the block and block interact with each other and enhances the sensitivity of the algorithm to plaintext. Theoretical analysis and experimental results demonstrate the security and practicability of the cryptosystem.

This paper is concerned with a theoretical investigation on the robust modified function projective lag synchronization (MFPLS) between two complex networks with nonlinear couplings, different-dimensional nodes, parameter disturbances and external disturbances. Some novel robust hybrid controllers are designed to address such synchronization problems for networks with and without disturbances, in which adaptive updated laws of disturbances are adopted to attenuate the disturbances occurred in networks. By utilizing Lyapunov functional method, synchronization criteria are derived by strict theoretical proof. Compared with existing jobs, the proposed model and synchronization type are more general. Two examples are presented to verify our results.
